Eyebrow & Forehead Lifts
With age and time many people lose soft tissue volume around the brows and the forehead tissues become lax. This causes the brows to drop and deflate creating a tired or stern appearance.
Over the past fifteen years Dr. Hofmann has focused his attention on using small-incision and endoscopic procedures to lift the eyebrows and smooth the forehead rather than the traditional large scalp incisions. With these procedures two to four small incisions are made above the hairline. Fine endoscopic instruments are used through these small incisions to elevate the tissues and reposition the brows. The tissues are then fixed into position using absorbable materials. These procedures are usually done as an outpatient with local anesthesia and sedation.
