Joseph A. Boivin, O.D. Dr. Joseph Boivin specializes in primary care optometry and contact lens fitting.  Before joining The Rhode Island Eye Institute in 1997, his experience includes work with post-operative patients, as well as clinical externships at an Army Hospital in Germany, East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, Boston Optometric Center Contact Lens Clinic, and the Eye Foundation of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Dr. Boivin graduated from the University of Massachusetts and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. He has been a practicing optometrist since 1990.
